She’s had to wait a while for the official ceremony, but we’re delighted that our Senior Accounting Technician Jane has attended her graduation service.

Watched on by her proud family, the event took place at Ely Cathedral, where Jane was presented with a first-class BA (Honours) Arts and Humanities (Art History and History) degree from the Open University.

With a huge interest in history and art, Jane achieved this impressive milestone by studying in her own time, alongside her busy day job at Baines Jewitt.

Talking of her achievement, Jane said: “I studied part time for six years, whilst still working. All for fun! I might do another couple of Art History modules which are new to the curriculum, but I will save the Masters until I retire. In the meantime, I am back to my other hobby, sewing quilts. I’ve had huge support from my husband and the rest of my family. I couldn’t have done it without them.”
