Baines Jewitt, one of Teesside’s largest chartered accountancy practices, has noticed a surge in demand for its outsourced payroll services as a result of the Covid 19- pandemic.

The Stockton-based firm puts the sudden hike in demand down to additional day-to-day challenges faced by businesses in the current climate.

“The pandemic has resulted in a very tough time for many organisations of all sizes and sectors,” explains Jed Lester, director, Baines Jewitt.

“Whether it’s the need to free up valuable time, save money, improve efficiencies or ensure compliance, more and more companies have been coming to us for help.”
