What is the Future Fund: Breakthrough scheme?<\/strong><\/p>\n The \u00a3375 million scheme is designed to \u201cdrive investment\u201d in the UK\u2019s \u201cmost high growth, innovative and Research & Development (R&D) intensive firms\u201d.<\/p>\n It comes after research suggested that breakthrough companies \u201ctypically require more capital than other technology companies to fuel the later stages of their growth\u201d.<\/p>\n How does the scheme work?<\/strong><\/p>\n The Future Fund: Breakthrough scheme is a co-investment scheme.
