But as the employer, your legal duties do not end there.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Once every three years, workers who have opted out of a workplace pension or did not previously meet the earnings threshold should be \u2018re-enrolled\u2019 into the workplace scheme \u2013 known as re-enrolment and re-declaration.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">If you\u2019re undertaking re-enrolment for the first time, here\u2019s everything you need to know.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><b>When does re-enrolment start?<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Employers must carry out the re-enrolment and re-declaration process three years after their staging date, and once every three years thereafter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Alternatively, employers can choose a re-enrolment date providing it falls within a six-month timeframe.
