{"id":1465,"date":"2016-08-24T14:50:34","date_gmt":"2016-08-24T14:50:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bainesjewitt.co.uk\/blog\/?p=1465"},"modified":"2016-08-24T14:50:34","modified_gmt":"2016-08-24T14:50:34","slug":"more-than-half-of-taxpayer-appeals-successful","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bainesjewitt.co.uk\/blog\/more-than-half-of-taxpayer-appeals-successful\/","title":{"rendered":"More than half of taxpayer appeals successful"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>More than half of taxpayer challenges to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) are successful, figures reveal.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Figures from the 2015\/16 tax year have shown that over half of tax appeals had been accepted, up slightly from the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>HMRC allows taxpayers to appeal decisions made by the tax authority.
