85 per cent of British entrepreneurs consider lowering business taxes their number one priority, according to a new Parliamentary study.<\/p>\n
The news comes following the results of a survey conducted by the Secretariat of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Entrepreneurship \u2013 a group launched by Business Secretary Sajid Javid in a bid to give business owners a voice in the Houses of Parliament.<\/p>\n
The APPG\u2019s survey revealed that 85 per cent of entrepreneurs in the UK see lowering business taxes as their top priority.<\/p>\n
Lowering personal taxes came in second, supported by 79 per cent of entrepreneurs surveyed.<\/p>\n
Mr Javid hopes that his new Entrepreneurship APPG will \u201cmake Britain the best place to start and grow a business\u201d.<\/p>\n
In its first year, the group will focus on improving enterprise education in schools, examining set-backs to exporting goods, investigating tax reforms and supporting more female-led businesses.<\/p>\n
Chair of the APPG for Entrepreneurship, MP Alan Mak, said: \u201cThe new Entrepreneurship APPG will be a key bridge between Westminster policymakers and entrepreneurs across Britain.<\/p>\n
