Howard Murray's Retirement Party - 30/05/2007
The Partners and spouses held a retirement party for Howard and Margaret Murray at The Tontine recently. A very enjoyable time was had by all as evidenced by the picture showing Howard in relaxed mode.
Jed Lester led the thanks to Howard for his dedication, conscientious and professional approach and his major contribution to the well being of the Firm over the years. Jed commented particularly on the quality of the training input provided by Howard of which Jed had personally benefited and the high standards that had been set as an example to all staff. Geoff Hopper added his thanks for the way Howard had contributed to the success of the merger and the professional standards established within the former Jewitts regime, which had been a major factor in moving a head with the merger.
Howard gave an interesting and light-hearted summary of his time in the profession highlighting a number of amusing anecdotes. He will be sorely missed by his colleagues and friends but will still be seen around the office as he continues his role as a part time Consultant.
