The BIG Start Up! - 30/05/2007

No not a new business venture or an additional client service but to an actual drum roll when the ignition key on 'the tractor' was turned. The engine successfully roared into life and the machine elegantly rolled into action in a field on the outskirts of Worsall on a recent sunny Saturday afternoon.

Many staff, relatives and friends witnessed the ceremony undertaken by Graham and Louis, Alan's son and grandson thus involving four generations of Wilkinsons. Remember that Alan's father originally purchased the tractor in 1967.

Staff were given the opportunity to drive the tractor and Chris Shaw is pictured carefully manoeuvring the vehicle back into position. Andrew, who is Graham's twin brother plays the drums in a band and provided the drum roll. The band kindly played a couple of sessions during the afternoon and Alan and his family very generously provided a bbq buffet and drinks of various flavours and alcoholic strength. The tractor was very heartily welcomed back into operation.

Well done Alan and we await details of the next project rumoured to be the raising of The Titanic! We wouldn't put it past him.
