Baines Jewitt are delighted to announce our decision to sponsor Commonwealth and European Medallist Aimee Willmott ahead of the forthcoming Olympic Games in Rio di Janeiro.
The competitive swimmer has previously represented Great Britain at the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, FINA world championships and more, and Baines Jewitt have proudly decided to give the successful athlete our backing for the foreseeable future.
Aimee, from Middlesbrough, took to competitive swimming at a very early age, following in her father’s footsteps, who represented Team GB at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Ever since, Aimee has continued to reach great heights and break new boundaries in the competitive swimming world, and we at Baines Jewitt are proud to offer her our sponsorship.
Trevor Cook, Partner at Baines Jewitt Chartered Accountants, said: “It gives me great pleasure to give our backing to such a talented and well-respected individual who has represented Great Britain on so many occasions.
Aimee’s accomplishments have been long admired by myself and the Baines Jewitt team, and we all hope that this new sponsorship will be the beginning of a longstanding friendship.
We would like to wish Aimee the very best at the forthcoming Rio 2016 Olympics and we’ll all be counting on her and the rest of Team GB to do Britain proud”.
